How do I tell if my coffee maker has aluminum or stainless steel both are non magnetic).?

Do not want aluminum on any of my cookware. If there's no easy way to tell how about new coffee makers that absolutely do not have aluminum?

As already stated, stainless steel is magnetic. That aside, I have not seen any major brand coffee makers that use aluminum for thier heating service, though I may be mistaken. If you are referring to a stove top styled pot, same scenario, never seen one in aluminum.

I have seen small plug-in perculators that are made of aluminum, but they cost more than a Mister Coffee coffee pot. So I guess my answer would be, buy a Mister Coffee coffee maker, and you cant go wrong
