Golf Driver And Wedge Advice!!?
I'm 13 and just starting out at golf, i'm not amazing but i can hit a 3 wood fairly straight and long so i thought a driver might be useful. Also i wondered if i needed a sand wedge for those occasional bunkers? I know people say gear doesn't matter as much as technique but i just want some advice or any products you'd recommend, anything up to about £100 really as i'm only a beginner. Thanks!
I started at the same age as you and if you get into the game it really is addictive, so good luck, it will be great fun!
Technique is important of course, but as a beginner I would advise second hand sand wedges. You can afford pretty much any of these second hand for £50, whilst new around £80. At the end of the day, it won't take long for them to get scratched so I would recommend a pre-owned one. You need something that you can trust...a lot of golf is in your mind as you will soon discover so being comfortable is very important.
