Topping the Ball?
I find that I hit the top of the ball with my Irons (not off the tee) . Any idea how to stop doing that? My divots are behind the ball, instead of in front. Am I placing the ball wring in my stance? Is it an arm thing? A pivot thing? A i really stink at this game and should through my clubs into the water hazard around the 8th fairway thing?
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
You could be coming up "out of your shot".
You're probably loosing all of your angles.. most importantly your spine angle.
When people say to "keep your head down", what you are really doing is maintaining your bent over spine angle through the entire shot. You must maintain a bent over spine angle, or all sorts of inconsistancies will result.
