I iron clothes everyday; how do I keep the ironing board from getting rusty?
It appears the steam from the iron soaks through the ironing cover and my new ironing board is already rusty.
Put a couple of padded cotton iron board covers on it after you seal the existing rust with a fresh coat of appliance paint.
Good air circulation around the board will help it dry up faster, put a small floor fan in the room.
