Please take a look at my Golf swing im lacking distance at times and hit it left with pull hooks or thin it.?

I hit it thin right my pure shots are ok but would like some added yardage with my irons without having to gain more speed i need better Impact take a look help me out please?

The poster on YouTube that said your backswing is too long is wrong- you're fine, especially since you look under control, from what I saw. That first swing from "down-the-line" was probably the best one, in my opinion.

I know it may feel right, but you may want to play the ball back a touch. From the video, it looks like you're playing that iron from a fairway wood ball-position. That, to me, looks too far forward. And stuff like that happens- sometimes the ball creeps too far forward or backward in your stance. Ernie Els has mentioned that he struggles with his ball position creeping forward on him.

For the 9 & wedges, maybe play the ball a fraction back of center (towards your right); for the 6-8 directly under center; and 3-5 a fraction ahead of center. This should ensure a downward strike into the ball, and create a divot that is made after contact- that would make the shots more crisp, and kill the thin shot. Playing the ball back might also help straighten out the shots- you're coming from the inside like you should, but if you do it too much, you can over-cook it.

Keep swinging like that- that's a good looking swing.
