what golf club would you suggest for a beginner?
'cause i don't know which type to buy. i havent held one before, yes that's how unexperienced i am. i need one before i start taking classes
See if you can borrow a set. Most golfers have extra clubs in their garage or shed. You don't want to spend that kind of money before finding out if you like the sport.
Otherwise, watch the classifieds for garage sales or go to the local recycle-reuse center. I've seen full sets of decent clubs for fifteen or twenty dollars. Take an experienced golfer with you to help you evaluate the equipment.
Once you determine whether or not you like the sport, go to a well stocked pro shop and get fitted.
